Starting point

The pandemic brought about a lasting change in communication behaviour. Video conferencing and livestreaming have become indispensable means of communication. This led to an increased demand for digital or hybrid meetings at many companies. Together with Zurich's iconic hotel Baur au Lac, we looked for a solution to meet this demand. The idea: The historic ballroom "Le Petit Palais" is to be converted into the "Studio Baur au Lac".

The result

The Baur au Lac studio was planned, built and put into operation within a short period of time. From the 60-square-metre studio stage, with a background that can be flexibly coloured and video screens, events can be transmitted in real time to websites, zooms, teams or social media platforms using state-of-the-art video, sound, lighting, interpreter and webcast technology. Virtual content and dynamic lighting scenarios make it possible to switch between different settings in a very short time. In addition to state-of-the-art equipment, a professional team of studio and streaming technicians ensures the smooth running of the transmission or recording. From wine tasting to panel discussions to the general assembly, we have been able to accompany a multitude of digital events.
