With precise lighting planning, impressive LED elements and individually designed player intros, we created an atmosphere that met the high demands of both the TV broadcast and the live audience. A smart control system made it possible to perfectly coordinate show lighting, video content and music. This made the event not only a sporting highlight, but also a visual one.
Light ≠ Light
The technical support placed high demands on the lighting design. TV broadcasts and the table tennis association demanded precisely defined illumination of the playing field.
Visual perfection - content for every screen
We developed the entire event and LED content in-house - over 150 customized assets to give each player their own intro. The content was not only optimized for the LED screens, but also for the big screen in the hall on which the game was broadcast live. Additional screens, for example in the VIP tent and backstage area, ensured that no highlight was missed.
Dynamic LED staging
Over 59 metres of LED boards provided impressive effects - individually controllable and perfectly synchronized with show lighting and player names. The challenge: The course of the game could not be predicted, so we developed an intuitive solution for the game management. Players, light show and warm-up music were triggered simultaneously at the touch of a button.
