The auditorium in the Lyceum Alpinum is the hub of the prestigious campus in Zuoz and is used for demanding training courses as well as for events and art. The modern and high-quality equipment enables interactive training at the highest level. The flexible connection points for picture and sound as well as the automatically focusable LED lights above the stage allow not only normal frontal instruction but also unconventional, more modern forms of teaching and thus make the lessons directly tangible and sustainable.
Thanks to the retractable stage, which can be adjusted in height by manual cranking, the auditorium becomes a theatre within minutes or can be used for other events.
The enormous flexibility as well as the high installed standard of the auditorium allows a smooth course of the dense daily routine and an enormously high reliability of the components.
The complete auditorium is operated via a permanently mounted or a mobile touch display, which controls not only the audio and video technology but also the lighting and shading of the entire room. The merging of the standards (KNX, Dali, DMX and UPD) enables the user to control the entire room via a KNX interface for complete lighting and shading of the room.
High-quality sound system
The loudspeakers from the Italian manufacturer K-Array have been discreetly integrated into the wall and thus integrate seamlessly into the symmetrical, simple room design. The line design of the loudspeakers makes it possible to provide homogeneous sound to the entire auditorium from the front to the rearmost tiers without noticeably reducing the sound pressure level. To make the audio system suitable for music, 18" bass speakers were also installed. This means that concerts and cinema screenings can be held without restrictions. Thanks to the intelligent audio processor, the system automatically levels the microphones, ensuring perfect intelligibility.
Projection suitable for daylight
Thanks to its high luminosity, the installed projector projects a 6m wide image that is easy to read even when the blackout is open. This allows lessons to be held in daylight, which has a positive effect on the students' attention and is conducive to the biorhythm.
